My younger daughter taught me to weave 21 years ago and it has taken me this long to finally weave a color study.  I saw the color combination idea in Handwoven magazine and really like the magenta yarn separating each saturated primary and secondary color.  This runner, 17-1/2 inches by 87 inches long, is woven in a plain weave with 10/2  mercerized cotton yarn.  I’ve placed it on the counter below my north facing window in my studio room.

  1. Oh that is beautiful. Congratulations. I don’t weave so have no idea how complicated it IS but it certainly looks it to me!

  4. The runner is lovely and your beadwork is stunning. I really do sit around and do absolutely nothing.
